Grade 1 Story

Tommy’s Super Busy Day

Tommy is a happy little boy who loves to move, learn, and help.

Every morning, he wakes up when the sun shines through his window. He stretches his arms and jumps out of bed with a big smile.

Tommy walks to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth, washes his face, and combs his hair. Then he puts on his clothes and ties his shoelaces all by himself.

In the kitchen, his mom cooks breakfast. Tommy sits at the table, eats his eggs, and drinks a glass of milk. After breakfast, he picks up his plate and helps Mom clean the table.

Tommy grabs his backpack and runs to catch the school bus. He waves at the driver and climbs aboard. On the bus, he talks to his friend Sam and laughs at a funny joke.

At school, the teacher greets everyone with a smile. Tommy listens carefully as she sings the good morning song. He reads a short story, writes new words, and draws a picture of his dog. Later, he cuts out shapes with scissors and glues them onto colored paper. He colors the shapes with crayons and shows them to his teacher.

In math class, he counts blocks and adds numbers. When he has a question, he raises his hand and asks politely. The teacher answers, and Tommy nods happily.

At recess, he runs, jumps, and climbs on the playground. He plays tag, kicks a ball, and throws it to his friends. He shares his snacks and sits on the bench to rest.

After school, Tommy walks home with his dad. They talk about his day and laugh together. At home, he opens his backpack, takes out his homework, and starts to work. He writes, colors, and checks his answers.

Later, he helps his mom fold the laundry and puts his clothes in the drawer. Then he feeds his dog and fills its water bowl.

At dinner, he sits, eats, and thanks his parents for the yummy food. After dinner, he brushes his teeth, washes his hands and face, and puts on his pajamas.

Before bed, Dad reads him a bedtime story. Tommy hugs Dad and climbs into bed. He closes his eyes, smiles, and falls asleep.

It was a super busy day for Tommy!

Grade 2 Story

The Big Day at the Park

One bright and sunny morning, Lily woke up feeling excited. Today was the day she was going to the park with her best friend, Max the dog. They had so many fun things planned to do!

Lily quickly got dressed, grabbed her favorite ball, and ran to the door. Max, who was already waiting by the door, barked happily when he saw her. “Let’s go!” Lily said as she opened the door. Max jumped up and down, ready for the adventure.

They walked down the street, enjoying the fresh air. Max stopped to sniff a flower, and Lily looked around at the busy street. When they arrived at the park, Lily threw the ball high into the air, and Max chased it, his paws splashing through puddles. He caught it in mid-air and landed with a soft thud on the grass. “Good boy, Max!” Lily clapped her hands.

After a few rounds of fetch, Lily decided it was time for a new game. She took off her shoes, ran to the playground, and climbed up the ladder. Max followed her, barking as he tried to catch her. They slid down the slide together, giggling all the way to the bottom. Lily jumped off the slide and skipped to the swings, while Max ran around in circles.

Then, Lily’s friend Sarah arrived at the park. “Hi, Lily! Hi, Max!” she called as she ran toward them. “Do you want to play tag?” Sarah asked. Lily smiled and said, “Yes! Let’s play!” They started to run in circles, trying to catch each other. Max barked excitedly as he ran after them, too.

After running for a while, they all felt a little tired. They sat down on a bench, catching their breath. Max lay at their feet, panting happily. “That was so much fun!” Lily said. “Let’s rest for a bit and then we can play some more.”

Once they felt rested, they decided to play hide and seek. Sarah counted while Lily and Max ran to find a good hiding spot. Max stayed close to Lily, watching Sarah as she counted out loud. When Sarah finished, Lily and Max quietly crept behind a tree. Sarah looked everywhere and finally found them, laughing. “You two are good at hiding!”

As the sun began to set, they knew it was time to go home. They walked back down the path, Max trotting happily beside them. When they arrived at Lily’s house, Max jumped up to the door, ready to go inside. “That was the best day ever!” Lily said. Max wagged his tail, as if agreeing. They both walked inside, tired but happy, ready for a good night’s sleep after their exciting adventure at the park.

Grade 3 Story

The Big Bake Sale

Mrs. Carter, the third-grade teacher, announced a bake sale to raise money for new library books. The whole class buzzed with excitement.

Liam, Zoe, and Mateo volunteered to organize the event. They met after school to plan everything.

“I can bake chocolate chip cookies,” said Zoe.
“I’ll make cupcakes,” added Liam.
“And I can bring lemon bars,” said Mateo.

The next afternoon, they gathered in Zoe’s kitchen. They washed their hands, put on aprons, and spread out their recipes.

First, Liam measured flour and sugar carefully. Zoe cracked eggs and stirred the batter. Mateo squeezed lemons and zested the peels.

While the cookies baked in the oven, the kitchen filled with a sweet, warm smell. Mateo peeked into the oven window and grinned.

When the cupcakes were ready, they decorated them with colorful frosting. Liam accidentally dropped a cupcake on the floor, and everyone laughed.

On the day of the bake sale, the three friends set up tables outside the school. They stacked plates high with cookies, cupcakes, and lemon bars. Bright signs fluttered in the breeze.

Parents, teachers, and students lined up to buy treats. Zoe handed out cookies. Liam collected money. Mateo kept the table clean and cheered when someone bought two or more sweets.

By the end of the afternoon, they had sold every last treat!

Mrs. Carter counted the money and smiled. “You raised enough for all the new books!”

The class clapped and celebrated. Liam, Zoe, and Mateo high-fived each other.

“I’m glad we worked so hard,” said Zoe.
“Me too,” added Liam.
“It feels good to help our school,” Mateo agreed.

They cleaned up the tables, packed the empty trays, and walked home feeling proud of what they had done together.

Grade 4 Story

The Community Clean-Up Day

One Saturday morning, Alex’s family joined the town’s Community Clean-Up Day. Groups of people gathered at the park with gloves, trash bags, and tools.

Alex and his best friends, Mia and Jordan, decided to work together. They grabbed their supplies and listened carefully as the team leader explained the plan.

“We’ll focus on the riverbank first,” she said. “Pick up trash, but also watch for anything dangerous.”

Alex led the way toward the river. They spotted candy wrappers, bottles, and old cans stuck in the grass. Carefully, they picked up each item and tossed it into their bags.

Jordan reached under a bush and pulled out a rusty bicycle tire. Mia found an abandoned soccer ball and kicked it over to the trash pile.

As they worked, ducks floated by on the river, quacking happily. The sun shone overhead, and a cool breeze rustled the trees.

After two hours, their bags bulged with trash. Alex wiped his forehead and grinned. “Look at how much cleaner it looks!”

Later, everyone gathered at the park center. The mayor thanked the volunteers and handed out certificates. “You’ve all made a big difference today,” she said. “This town is better because of your help.”

Mia held her certificate and smiled. “This was fun. We should do it again!”

“Yeah,” Jordan agreed. “Helping the Earth feels good.”

As they walked home, the friends talked about other ways to help—like planting trees or starting a recycling program at school.

That day, they didn’t just clean the town. They learned that small actions can create big changes when people work together.
